CQT’s Vlatko Vedral a highly cited scientist

The theoretical physicist is among the top 1% for citations in physics

CQT's Vlatko Vedral is a Highly Cited Researcher, ranked in the top 1% by citations in physics in Web of Science in 2017

Congratulations to Vlatko Vedral, a Principal Investigator with the Centre for Quantum Technologies, on being named a 2017 Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics.

Clarivate says: "Ranking in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in Web of Science, Highly Cited Researchers are leading the way in solving the world’s biggest challenges".

Vlatko's research interests are in quantum information and the foundations of quantum physics. He has published research on topics including quantum thermodynamics, quantum biology and quantum gravity.

On receiving the recognition, Vlatko said "I am really surprised and delighted that the quantum community appreciates my work".

Clarivate assessed citations across 21 fields of science and social science. Vlatko was ranked in the field of physics.

Worldwide, there are 3,300 researchers identified by Clarivate as highly cited. Vlatko is one of 13 researchers with the National University of Singapore to make the cut. NUS has the full list.
